Xstatus (A KISS status program)

basically xsetroot -name, but you have more control and this uses Xlib, that's it. Extend this with the patches as you see fit, get battery, volume, etc.

Feel free to add your own addons in the way I have, or maybe if you are smarter than me, do it better and perhaps even send replacement addons to the addons I made and stuff, thanks.

Steps:

• addon_name.c and write your addon code
• declare that function in config.h
• add that function below the addon comment in status.c
• git add addon_name.c config.h status.c
• git commit -m "X Addon for xstatus x.x"
• git format-patch -1 HEAD

Send the file produced here as xstatus-x.x-something_addon.diff
