Honestly most FIFA world cup has some kind of politics going on, but in this one it is more apparent to us. FIFA basically didn't care about having a good game as they sent referees that are most argentinians and are most of them are just straight up bad. A lot of bad decisions and a lot of decisions that were missed deliberately by the VAR.

I swear to GOD, the VAR guys just does whatever they feel like it. At this point just get rid of VAR. In Spain vs Belgium, when Spain scored, there wasn't any problem with the VAR. There was a Spain handball in the Dbox, but oh nope no problem there. But when Belgium comes and scores, VAR is panicking and trying to figure out some kind of way to remove the score from Belgium. They also spend those useless amount of time making graphics to show that bullshit. Time wasters.

In Argentina vs Egypt, the referee didn't stop the game when Alvarez was pushed down, and was called "No foul keep playing" That's a decision of Advantage. There shouldn't be any way to overrule it. But then VAR comes in and overruled it? what? this makes no sense. Advantage is an advantage. The VAR only cares when there is a goal and their backs have guns pointing at them to overrule the advantage. If it was a foul play, the referee should have stopped the game. But they didn't... This is an example of a shitty referee.

In Norway vs England, there was a goal kick that hit something up there for the ball to come down to some an england player moments before the goal. That should have been a VAR that would intervene and stop the game. Immediately. Again, the VAR guys were sleeping.

I see no point in keeping the VAR guys, when they clearly do not do their job and the referee on the pitch who doesn't also do their job without relying on the VAR. The VAR systems is quite useless, only is there for the sake of bad refereeing. The answer is to just get good referees. That simple. I'm sure FIFA is not able to get the good referees ay?
